Peter Ellis (director) : ウィキペディア英語版 | Peter Ellis (director) Peter James Ellis (January 28, 1948 – April 24, 2006) was a British director who helped develop a number of television episodes. He was educated at Highgate School, as were his brothers, and began his career directing episodes for various dramatic television series in England. In the late 1980s he moved to Hollywood, California, where he was based for the rest of his life. Working on productions in the United States, Canada, France, New Zealand, and Spain, he directed multiple episodes for ''Highlander'', ''Supernatural'', ''Third Watch'', ''Queen of Swords'', ''Diagnosis Murder'', ''Falcon Crest'', and ''The Optimist'', among others. He also wrote six episodes for ''The Optimist''. The season two episode of ''Supernatural'' titled "Everybody Loves a Clown" is dedicated to Ellis' memory. He was the brother of actors Robin Ellis and Jack Ellis, uncle of Dae'mar Fuller.
